Project Description
The DePreist Award for Excellence Gala is an event in support of Volunteers of America Oregon that recognizes entrepreneurial excellence
and service to community. In 2018, Gertrude Boyle was honored with the award. Gertrude Boyle, Chairman of the Board of Columbia Sportswear Company is one of Portland’s leading entrepreneurs, a dedicated philanthropist, and a woman who defines grit, charisma, and wisdom. I was asked to create the overall design concept and execution of all event collateral. My design featured an illustrated snow capped Mt. Hood viewed through the trees – imagery that represents both Portland and Gert’s Outerwear company. Event collateral included:
